    Hey!
    I'm a mac-user and i want to install FFMPEG to render videos.
    However, i don't want to get Hombebrew.

    After downloading the FFMPEG.7zip file, what should i do now?
    When decompiled its empty.

    Thats what i've done.

    I should put the 'executable' to a special path.
    Now what executable; the .7zip file?

    I've come so far now that i got a .exe file as for ffmpeg, but the path /usr/local/bin doesn't work.

    Why would you have an .exe file on Mac?!
    Download ffmpeg from here (direct download!), unzip the .7z file, and move the contained file into /usr/local/bin.

    When i drag it there, it's blocked.
    So i've come more far, to the point "enter your password to proceed"

    Then, i found out i forgot my password.
    So i did some research on how to reset it.

    Now i know it, and if i try to put it in using terminal
    sudo cp [Dragged in FFMPEG] /usr/bin
    it says "Operation not permitted"

    God this is complicated xD
