    Hey Guys,

I am playing on a Minecraft Survival Build Server, where I wanted to start a Project ^^ Before I started to use it, I asked the Developers (to be sure that they don't ban me =P ). They told me to not use this as it doesn't load the world as usual and that is not good for them (unfortunately). Is there a possibility to pass over such a thing so it loads the world normally or is is also possible to even change the code (I assume that this won't happen as it may be a waste of your time.

Thanks in Advance and have a nice day ^^

    -Relega

PS: Excuse me for my bad English =P

It can't affect the server in anyway, the worst that can happen is the replay records wrong so when you replay it there's bits missing, but this shouldn't happen.
    It should be fine =3

Isn't there a possibility to change it? I don't think they would let that through =( But Thanks for answering so fast ^^

Even if they don't realise it can't affect them in any way, it's impossible for them to know whether or not you use it. All it does is copy everything that happens and lets you play through it again.

I agree. Server owners have no way of finding out whether or not you use it. All it does, is take the chunks loaded by the client itself and put it in a replay file.

Not entirely true because forge servers will show player mods in the console. But assuming it is spigot/bukkit/sponge/vanillia server then no, it's probably impossible.

In the case of the Replay Mod however, we're sending custom Plugin Messages to the Server, requesting whether there are any restrictions for recording Replays.

At least I added "probably". :) But yeah... I have forgot about restriction packets... Still, I don't think anyone use them at the moment.

I don't think any server will block it because who doesn't love promotion.

There are servers that don't allow to use Replay Mod, thats why there are restriction packets. However I still haven't seen any good reason to ban Replay Mod (two reasons I have heard so far: "players can look where are other players in the UHC match", "players can see secret areas").
