When I put the rendered video in Vegas it shows up as a green picture, with no audio or other things. I also tried impoting it from the file tab but that doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas?

Note: I can watch the video normally when i open it with media player.

When you play it with a normal video player, does it play as expected?

In that case the problem is probably with Sony Vegas. I don't own Sony Vegas so I cannot test that. The only thing I can suggest to you is trying to output it with a different format and check if Sony Vegas does like that.
Encoding to the video file is done with ffmpeg, so there is nearly nothing we can do. You might give a google for 'Sony Vegas ffmpeg green video' a go, maybe that problem is known.
