Mod is making up its own path to follow

The path was working fine when there were just two points, then I added a third one aways away and it suddenly decided to go all spastic. I tried adding more angles to help show which direction t follow instead of all over the place, but that just made it worse.

Then when it gets over to another place, I want it to go to where I had it, and then stop for around 5 seconds, as you can see in the timeline. Yet instead, it gets there, and then keeps going, finally looping back around, and then stopping where I wanted it to stay for 5 seconds.

So far, I've had nothing but bad experience from this mod. It looks like a great idea and it seems easy to use, but nowhere in the open did it say I had to download another third party program to render the videos, AND when I got the error in game saying I had to download ffmpeg to render videos, it never told me I had to run a certain batch from the website either. And now this is happening. It's super annoying and this has been to pain to work with. I know I'm getting sidetracked but please, someone help me because this is getting extremely frustrating.

I don't really understand your problem, but that might be a fault on my end.

    However,
    1. nowhere in the open did it say I had to download another third party program to render the videos it never told me I had to run a certain batch from the website either There is a great invention called Documentation that gives you a detailed walkthrough on how to install Forge, the ReplayMod and even FFmpeg

    2. Your buttons look really messy, thats due to ReplayMod not supporting Shaders Mod. As a warning, rendering with shaders won't work either. You can find further information on that in the Documentations.

Aha, I didn't see that. It was quite a big page, I mustn't have seen it. It would probably help if it was in bold or red so it stands out, but whatever.

As for the buttons and other redstoning things being everywhere, that's just a result of the server. I can see all the buttons and everything everywhere while I'm playing normally in vanilla. It probably is some bug in one of the plugins. It's good to know that I can't use Shaders though. It's a disapointment but I guess I can manage.

However that still doesn't answer why it's adding additional points to serve to.
Here's a rouge sketch of what I was expecting/wanting, and then what it ended up doing. The red points are parts that seem to be added that it goes to.

There is a table of contents on top of the page where you can click through.

With "Buttons" I don't mean the buttons ingame, more like the Speed Slider.

The thing you've explained isn't possible like that. You can either make two Camera Paths and save them in a Keyframe Repository to render the first on, load the next one and render the second one. Using a Post Production Software, you can put them together. Another "dirty" workaround would be something like this:

That was my backup plan, just slicing each cut individually and rendering each one individually. It still is kind of a hassle, and I don't see why it can't do the first one. Do you know why it can't be done? To me it seems like a simple fishhook-shaped path, so I don't see why it would it would have to resort to an S-shape, moving back and forth.

The S-Shape comes from the interpolation which makes the paths smooth.
It is indeed recommended to make two separate paths in your case, I don't see why you wouldn't do so.

I was hoping I could just make one fluent path and then cut out the parts in the middle, it seemed to be easier than having to save a path for each shot. But at least each individual shot works, thank you.
