So I've been using the newest version and it has some highly annoying bug:

So I started making my replay and I had to travel a lot back in time, to get back in synth I pressed 'V' but sometimes 'V' doesn't really sync them, sometimes it is a bit more in future and sometimes a bit more in past. I only noticed it at the end so it resulted in a highly bugged replay and I had to screw the whole thing. Gonna swap to Version 2 now...

How much is a bit? There hasn't anything changed in the past release concerning the functionality of 'V'. We did however change something having to do with keypresses in general. Could it also be that the cursor was at the wrong position in the first place and pressing 'V' didn't do a thing?

I will now try to re-produce the scenario and record it.

Thanks for taking the time to report those bugs and to create a video. I'll try to find out what's going on and inform you once the bug is fixed.

Forgot to ask: Are there any exceptions in the log? Do you use any other mods, if so, which?

So I re-watched the video and I fail to see the problem with jumping in time. It seems to work fine (you can even see the players changing at 0:54). Maybe you're expecting to see something different but as far as I can tell, it works.
I haven't looked at the issue with 'V' yet.

So, I've tried to somehow get V to now work, re-watched the video and I fail to see it not working. Could you point out exactly (step by step) what it is you're doing, what does happen and what you expected to happen.

Well When I rightclick on a time keyframe i should land exactly to the time right? So if I press 'V' it the cursor should be at the exact position of the time keyframe.

No, it is relative to the last keyframe. If the speed of the video is the same between all of the keyframes then yes, what you said is true (as can be seen in the video after the jump at ~1:58).
However unless you fully understand where V places the cursor, it is only useful when appending new keyframes to the end, not in the middle of the replay.

Hmm okay, did not knew it. I just thought it works that way, this is at least how I understood it.

Don't blame yourself for not knowing that. It's not one of the best documented things of the mod.
@CrushedPixel will create a video tutorial for paths/keyframes at some point in which he'll probably also explain how V works. If one of the mods or other users who understands how it works wishes to explain it here in detail, please do so. I've unfortunately not got enough time to do that.

Hey, don't promise stuff while I'm on vacation without good internet :c
Yeah, @User34 or @User37 , I summon you to explain the magical V key.

One does not summon me to explain something! Especially not this late!

Okay, I will do my best to explain the glorious V key.

In the simplest of terms, the V key is used to make sure your keyframe timeline matches up to what you “see” in the actual replay.

So if you set a time and position keyframe at 00:00s and then you let the replay run for 15 seconds, and you want the camera then to be placed at that exact position and point in time on the replay (and you also want the replay to run at 1x speed), you press the V key and it will calculate exactly where your next position and time keyframe should be to achieve this.

Let’s assume you are watching a replay and you have placed your first position and time keyframes already. Let’s say, you want the camera to move to a specific position but you want it to be at that position after the replay has run for 20 seconds. To achieve this, let the replay run for 20 seconds, pause it and press V. It will then place the cursor exactly where you need to put your next time keyframe.

You can use the V key to control your camera quite efficiently with very little manual manipulation of the keyframe values, but it is important to understand that if you do not let the replay play for even/equal intervals, you might get the effect of the camera moving faster between segments where your time keyframes are closer together.

I am probably confusing you even more but this is how I understand it and my videos have turned out alright :)
