Whenever I use replay mod 1.8.9-2.1.3 I can move around a bit but then all of the blocks are gone and I can only see the void. This mostly happens when I open a replay of a server.
Why are you using 2.1.3 though? 2.1.4 has been out for ages and fixes a bug which matches exactly what you described: "Fix world sometimes becoming invisible when moving the camera" - The Changelog
