    Im running forge 1.8.9 and it is failing to record when i join a server or load a single player world.
    I have re downloaded the mod too

    Please post the contents of the fml-client-latest.log file inside the logs folder inside your .minecraft folder to some pastebin site and link to the post here.

    Note that this log will only contain information on the last time you started Minecraft, not any previous runs.

    I couldnt find fml-client-latest.log in there but there was a log named latest.log which was the only one there so here it is

    Looks like the waypoints mod is breaking it. Try to remove it. IIRC there isn't even a real 1.8.9 version for it (i.e. the mod's latest supported version is still 1.7.10). See here.

    yeah it was ported by someone.

    Its fixed now, thanks for the quick help!

    However upon viewing a recording my game crashes?

    Where's that port you've been talking about? Cause that is still the waypoint mod and this time there's a clear issue visible in the source of the old version. But considering the last update to it is something like two years ago, it will probably not be fixed there.

    ive removed the waypoint mod completely

    Have you done that just now or before posting that last crash log? Because the waypoints mod is still installed at the time of the crash (just search for "waypoints" and you'll find it).

    oh i think i posted the wrong log.
    I deleted the remaining files of that mod but now its saying theres a missing mod even though its a fresh restart.
