When I press render, the screen blinks white for at least 3 seconds which leads to a frozen render screen. Render Time, Frames rendered and Time left all have 0 (seconds). I am trying to render 100% first person, no shaders (however I have optifine installed) with 62,000+ frames needed to render. I am rendering the video with default MP4 settings at 60 fps, I have removed all the previous mods and tried without my texture pack. I have Mac OS, 4 GB ram (don't know if the ram is the issue), plenty of storage.

    Info:
    Forge 1.8.9 - 11.15.1.2318
    replaymod-1.8.9-2.0.1
    OptiFine_1.8.9_HD_U_H5

Please post the contents of the fml-client-latest.log file inside the logs folder inside your .minecraft folder to some pastebin site and link to the post here.

Note that this log will only contain information on the last time you started Minecraft, not any previous runs.

Figured it out, it was the Optifine version I was using, it stopped the loading bar from moving after clicking render I think (unless it was just frozen). But I downloaded the latest Optifine for 1.8.9 and it's completely fine!

P.S. I went into my logs to look for the latest log, but it didn't have anything from 1.8.9, only 1.12.2 logs, anyways thank you for trying!!
