I've looked at a few threads and tried what people have suggested, and nothing has worked. When I click render after a few seconds it comes up with this (https://pastebin.com/).

Looks like you accidentally changed the command line arguments. Try changing the "Encoding Preset" to something else and then back, that should reset them.

That worked, but it now freezes in the rendering area, I have no other programs running, and my computer isn't that bad so it couldn't be that.

Try updating Optifine (you're using H5, current is H8). If that doesn't solve the problem:

Please post the contents of the fml-client-latest.log file inside the log folder inside your .minecraft folder to some pastebin site and link to the post here.

Note that this log will only contain information on the last time you started Minecraft, not any previous runs.
