Hey guys, so i was trying to edit a recording, when all of a sudden the game said it had ran out of memory and so it deleted "unnecessary" files. So when i saw this i got a little scared and when I went to the replay viewer, my worst thoughts came true. Minecraft had deleted the recordings, but they are still in the output folder in mcpr format. I searched everywhere, even on your own forums on how to get those files back into the viewer, but i couldn't find anything. I really need to figure out how to fix this, because i just lost 2 weeks worth of recordings, for a giant server spawn 10billion+ blocks big. So if anyone knows how to fix this, plz respond to this thread!

No, Minecraft does not delete random files when it runs out of RAM. Doing so doesn't even make sense.

If restarting Minecraft doesn't bring up an recovery GUI, you'll have to upload those replays to some file sharing site and I'll have a look at whether it can be recovered.
Either way, to be safe, I'd suggest creating a backup of your replay_recordings folder right now if you haven't done it already.

Nvm, i restarted the game so i could make an account for this website, and I went to the replay viewer to show my brother what happened... Its all back. I don't know how, but its all back. So thank you guys if you were trying to figure out how to help me, but i guess i helped myself with a little October miracle XD
