instaled ffmpeg, used batch script,it says its not installed when i try to render a video.

C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\ffmpeg-20170817-92da230-win64-static is where it is. i ran the batch script and it said it was a success.
and yes, ffmpeg ffplay and ffprobe are in \bin.

Rename the ffmpeg-20170817-92da230-win64-static folder to ffmpeg as described in the docs (last paragraph of that section).

    i'm gona try reinstall ffmpeg.

didn't work. ran batch script and folder is /ffmpeg in .minecraft
also restarted pc and mc several times.

    SO FRUSTRATING.

nb: it definately knows where the bin file is as when i deleted it for reinstall it said that 'action could not be completed because this file is open in another program.'

To verify: .minecraft/ffmpeg/bin/ffmpeg.exe exists, right? If so:
Please post the contents of the fml-client-latest.log file inside the log folder inside your .minecraft folder to some pastebin site and link to the post here.

Note that this log will only contain information on the last time you started Minecraft, not any previous runs.

Also, I'd prefer if you only used the edit post functionallity for fixing typos because I don't get any notification when you do.
