Replay Mod Forums

My game Crashes every time I Load a replay, from the replay viewer. When the game crash it states
The game crashed whilst unexpected error
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Unexpected error
I would greatly appreciate the help, Thank you.

Please post the contents of the fml-client-latest.log file inside the log folder inside your .minecraft folder to some pastebin site and link to the post here.

Note that this log will only contain information on the last time you started Minecraft, not any previous runs.

Hey John, i did some troubleshooting and i found out that the mod was not compatible with the way point mod that i have installed, so I got rid of the wp mod, and i tried to open a replay and it worked. Im still thankful for your help, glad that developers are always alert with people who need help with your amazing mod. Thanks again and have a great day ;).

Where did you get that "waypoints" mod from? The original mod seems to still be on 1.7.10?

i have fyu's waypoints, which has 1.8.9

Yes, but where did you get it from? I wasn't able to find any download links for a 1.8.9 version of that mod.

O, i got it from a youtuber who uplaoded his mods folder, and the waypoint was inside. Do you want the link?

That sounds slightly dubious but I guess I'll have a look at it.

Oh, yeah, that is the 1.7.10 version. I'm kind of surprised it even loads on 1.8.9.
I guess there's little hope of actually fixing this bug though because the original developer seems to have given up on it (no changes for almost a full year and no official 1.8+ support).

Looks like something in that replay is broken. What server did you record it on? Can you share it?

yea, i play on a faction server, Cosmicpvp

Could you upload the replay to the Replay Center or some other file sharing site so I can have a look at it?
