When I connect to a server and the Setting "Record Server" switch to OFF, then the client don't disconnect. I receive the chat until i have disconnected and on the server other players see me. Sorry for my bad englisch :D

Wenn ich mich mit einem Server verbinde und die Einstellung "Record Server" auf OFF steht, wird der Server nur visuell verlassen. Das heisst, dass ich weiterhin den Chat empfange und auf dem Server stehe.

This is not because of the option and is also a vanilla bug.

I just tried that and it turns out that it indeed only happens when the Record Server option is set to OFF. Will investigate it once I find time to do so.

This should be fixed as of 1.0.2
Could you test again and confirm that it was fixed?
