    Hey,

I've been recording a whole build during 2h until my game crashes (not the replay mod's fault).
    Here is my problem:

If I take a look at the Replay folder, the .mcpr file is here .

But, if I try to look for it in the Replay Viewer, it does not appear to be recognized, I don't see it in the list of my records.

Is the file still readable if the replay is not stopped correctly? Or can it make the .mcpr file not readable? :/
If so, is there a way to fix it?

I doubt I'm the first to face this problem but I didn't find a subject that says if there is a solution or not.

    Thank you for helping!

If there's an exception when reading a replay file, that exception is printed to the log. Please post the full log (should at least have the name of your replay in it) right after you enter the Replay Viewer screen.

Nothing in the logs when I enter the Replay Viewer screen unfortunately:

Anyway, I think I will never be able to read it because when comparing with other .mcpr files, it doesnt look complete:

The fact that some of the files are missing, isn't too big of a deal (the entity_positions.json file is created when you load the replay for the first time, the mods.json is only used to prevent crashes when loading a replay with missing mods). What is however critical is the fact the the "recording.tmcpr" file (which is the actual recording data) is only 0 bytes.
What seems a bit strange to me is that the overall zip file is still of reasonable size. If you upload it somewhere I'll have a quick look whether that's just garbage or actual recording.

Which version of the ReplayMod are you using? Any 1.0.x version used to be susceptible to crashes but that should no longer be the case in the 2.0.0 versions.
Did it ask you whether you whished to recover the replay when you re-started the game after it crashed?
Can you find the logs for the session that crashed and (if you're using 2.0.0) the logs for the session following the previous one?

I am using the 1.12-2.0.0 version of ReplayMod .
But as I said, I got an internet issue that made me leave the server, that is why the record could not be stopped correctly. It is not because of a ReplayMod crash.

It did not ask me whether I wished to recover the replay when restarted the game (It usually do when the game crashes while working on a replay through the Replay Viewer window, but it did not in this case, while actually recording the build)

You'll find here the files you asked me to give you.

Seems like all but the last 4-5 minutes were still in that zip. Here's your replay: https://i.johni0702.de/2017_07_13_22_59_08.mcpr

    You're welcome.
As for shaders: they aren't recorded in the replay, only gameplay is. If you want to have shaders in your final video, just install optifine now and you can enable whatever shaders you want.
