I decided today to do some more work on my replay. So i clicked on the key-frame preset and accidentally click overwrite (as i was overwriting a lot the previous day and it became the norm), and i lost ALL the work. (BTW it was 5 hours of work).

Is there anyway i can undo an accidental overwrite?

If there isnt, then i wish there was a popup that said:
    "Are you sure?"
    *Confirm* *Cancel*

    Please help!

If you have not yet closed the replay (or killed minecraft instead of quitting it normally), you're lucky and have two options:
    a) go to your .minecraft folder, inside the replay_recordings folder you will find your replay and a folder with the same name ending in ".tmp". copy your replay to another folder, then quit minecraft, then copy the file back
    b) kill minecraft and the next time your start it, do not let it recover the replay

We'll add a confirmation dialog in the next release.

Thanks for the help. I tried, but i was already too late. I guess ill always make a second save file just in case this happens (until the time when a confirmation dialogue is added).

Still cant believe I've only had it for a week and found an issue (can be seen as positive and negative,FYI, i don't mind). Glad it was just me and that people wont have to deal with the same problem.

Also i found a good thing with me finding this issue.
Now i can redo the replay and it'll be better, as i have learnt over this past week.

    Thanks again!
