operating system: windows 10 single language 64 bit

i cant render any videos after installing ffmpeg and i did everything including reading the docs, it says: "to render a video, you need to have ffmpeg installed. http://ffmpeg.org"

I even tried to install it manually and nothing works, i put the location of the ffmpeg.exe in the Command Line Settings tab and it still failed :(

    Can someone please help me?

I too have this problem... Installed exactly the same way and cmd even tells me it's installed, but replaymod doesn't recognise it.

EDIT: You have to restart minecraft completely, aka restart even the launcher

Umm.. I actually asked this, because you shouldn't xD
You should put the installer in the folder, where there is the bin folder too.

That explains a lot.. Left Box is for the ffmpeg main command (the one you should have changed). The right box is for all the arguments.

    right, the long one
That field is for experienced users only. It specifies the arguments which ffmpeg uses to render. Don't change it unless you know what you're doing

Re-open the Render screen, change the left box from ffmpeg to C:/your/path/here/ffmpeg.exe

You leave the command line settings like they are by default and it should be fine

    Leave it on default
    If you don't have the default arguments anymore, here are they: -y -f rawvideo -pix_fmt rgb24 -s %WIDTH%x%HEIGHT% -r %FPS% -i - -an -c:v libx264 -preset ultrafast -pix_fmt yuv420p "%FILENAME%.mp4"
