    So, I have been trying to Catch hackers, and on the particular game I played I needed to see the chat to Catch the hacker.
    Adding chat would also make this mod more realistic (Minecraft realism then) and make viewing replays better.

    In the first few previews of the mod, it did record chat. I don't know what happened to the feature since.

    We removed the chat as most of the time it only obstructed the view and wasn't of any interest.
    It is still present in the replay file, so if you really need it you can upload the replay and I'll extract it for you.
    We might also add an option to show it in the future, though that'd take some time (other things are far more important) and will probably be too far in the future for your hacker report.

    Maybe show it when you press T button (if you press arrow in bottom left corner it would hide) or add another hotkey to show/hide it

    Also i think it would be cool if you could export it with final video. Maybe alongside with sidebar (you can see it when you edit replay), crosshair and hotbar (if clients get information about other players' inventories of course)

    I've added an option in the settings menu which will allow you to toggle whether chat messages are replayed with the next release (1.0.4). They won't be shown when exporting a video though as GUI exporting isn't within the scope of this project for now.
