As you can see the only visible things you can see are the entities and word background.



I'm not having any crashes or anything. I have no shaders or resource packs active either. I did a clean install of 1.12.2 without my mods and still got the same effect.

Please post the contents of the fml-client-latest.log file inside the log folder inside your .minecraft folder to some pastebin site and link to the post here.

Note that this log will only contain information on the last time you started Minecraft, not any previous runs.
To remove noise, do the above with only ReplayMod installed.

It seems to be a mod conflict? The ones I have installed: Inventory Tweaks, Jei, MapWriter, Mouse Tweaks, Optifine, OreEcavation

So, is this statement still true: "I did a clean install of 1.12.2 without my mods and still got the same effect."? If so, then it can't possibly be a mod conflict. If not so, then:
Please remove all mods except the ReplayMod and check whether that solves the problem.
If it does, re-add the mods one by one until it breaks again.

Once done, please list all remaining mods (with their respective versions) and re-post all (crash) logs with just that minimal configuration.

Apologies for the miscommunication was trying to type hat up fast before work! The replay mod does work fine by its self. I have found the conflicting mod I believe as well. MapWriter now that it is gone it works fine.
These mods are now what is left: replaymod-1.12.2-2.0.1-b1 , OreExcavation-1.4.105 , OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_C6_MOD , MouseTweaks-2.8-mc1.12.1 , jei_1.12.1-4.7.8.95 , InventoryTweaks-1.63.

This seems to have been fixed in mapwriter 23 days ago which appears to be too late for their latest release, so I guess you'll have to remove mapwriter when opening replays until their next release (or use a snapshot version if they provide one).

I see I'll go ahead and use journey map until a fix is out. Thank you, I really appreciate the help with this and all the hard work on the mod as well! Keep it up, I will definitely be donating now. Again thank you very much!
